Firearms Training and Certification

Before you consider pursuing firearms training, we do wish to remind officers that they will not be provided work as an armed officer without first attaining certificates and permits for at least one non-lethal belt item such as OC spray, Taser, or Baton. If you cannot respond with an appropriate escalation of force, you cannot work for us an an armed officer.
