Thanks for your interest in getting involved with our social community network as either a volunteer, equity only worker, or even proposing to be added into the budget to get paid. Together we can help bring a more balanced world and help solve the problems of the 21st Century.
As a social cause based organization, we have limited budgets and so we encourage you to be mindful while choosing your pay rate and budget proposals, if you are asking for money. It is also important to propose a budget amount that motivates you to do the difficult and challenging work that we are expecting you to do. You can start tracking your hours immediately, as you automatically get equity and tokens for all time spent towards the recruitment process, and "volunteers" always get the value of their work credited to be donated to the community project area of choice. In our model everyone is a contributor and investor, either investing their time, money or other resources.
Our Goal is to have you become part of our team, in any capacity based on how you want to get involved. The recruitment process may vary slightly depending on the nature of the position, but it generally involves the same steps. Ultimately, all positions, whether paid or voluntary, require approval or appointment. At our organization, we begin with at least a single responsibility for producing output that requires 1.5 hours of work per week or per month. As individuals take on additional responsibilities, their hours increase accordingly. Some paid workers may start with 6 to 7.5 hours, representing 4 to 5 responsibilities
At any time if you have questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We are here to help you, and work together as a team. We are not looking for people who know how to do everything, or only will do something if they know how to do it perfectly. We are looking for people who are willing to jump into the unknown of global organizing and work together as a team to help others. We need to ask lots of questions and support each other to figure out problems that we do not know how to solve at this time; that is the challenge of solving "glocal" problems that have never been solved before. The work is not easy, the outcomes are unknown, but if we work together, we can accomplish anything.
