Welcome to the year 1999 in the Chaosverse, home to Team Barnum's reimagining of Seuss Landing. In this reality, Seuss Landing adopted entirely different design principles upon opening day in 1999. After much success, an expansion was announced in 2003. The year 2003 saw a grand celebration in Seuss Landing in honor of the recently released Cat in the Hat movie starring Mike Meyers. In honor of the celebration, the already-existing Cat in the Hat Walkthrough attraction was rethemed to the recently released movie, and the brand-new How the Grinch Stole Christmas themed, Mount Crumpit: The Christmas Caper was temporarily rethemed to a "Mike Meyers Cat vs Jim Carey Grinch".

The complete failure of the Cat in the Hat movie and the terrible overlays were enough to destroy Seuss Landing's reputation. Needless to say by 2004 Universal Creative was determined not to repeat their mistakes and remain faithful to the original works of Dr. Seuss, no terrible adaptions allowed.
