Due to COVID-19, our Summer Camp Program has been cancelled.
75% of Boston’s students receive free or reduced lunch. With schools closed for an extended period of time there is a real concern about how these students will continue to have access to nutritious meals. In today’s lesson, families can explore the issue of food insecurity and then contribute to helping our neighbors provide healthy meals for their families.

Objective: Foster an understanding of the cost of planning a nutritious meal and how difficult it can be to plan a nutritious meal when on a budget.
