Short Biography

Mariana Pereira holds a BSc degree in Biology, obtained at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto (FCUP). She is currently a second-year student at the Cell and Molecular Biology Master's at FCUP and is now developing her dissertation project titled "Unravelling biomarkers for Obesity-related inheritance of Prostate dysfunction and cancer" under the supervision of Marco G.Alves, PhD and Sara Pereira, MSc at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar (ICBAS).
