Short Biography

Giuseppe Tancredi Patanè is a PhD student in biochemistry at the University of Messina. He graduated in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology on 18/07/22 with honours. His first research topic was the interaction between flavonoids and human serum albumin, with a focus on biological changes in the complex formed. He started his PhD at the University of Messina, from 2022 to the present. The subject of Giuseppe Tancredi Patanè's doctoral thesis is the antioxidant and pro-oxidant activity of various polyphenols from citrus industry waste, and their biological applications in medicine and industry.
