Short Biography

David F. Carrageta completed his LSc degree and MSc degree in Biomedical Sciences, in 2015 and 2017 respectively, at the University of Beira Interior, Covilhã, Portugal. He is presently a PhD student in Biomedical Sciences, at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar, University of Porto, Porto, Portugal (ICBAS-UP). His research interests comprise sperm bioenergetics and epigenetics alterations conferred by hyperglycemia and T2DM. The work is being developed under the supervision of Prof. Marco G. Alves and co-supervision of Prof. Mariana P. Monteiro and Prof. Pedro F. Oliveira (QOPNA & LAQV-UA).
