Little was born in 1956, and was active from 1985 to 1988, where he killed four women in STL. He died in February of 1994, though not by lethal injection as he got a life sentence. He was originally born in Mississippi but moved to Saint Louis when he was 4. He was apprehended on August 4, 1988.
Little had dropped out of school by 6th grade and was raised by his mother after his father passed away. By 1971, he had been convicted of a rape and went to juvenile for 5 years. He got parole in 1974. A few weeks later, he took part in a robbery and gang rape where he got sentenced to 20 years. He again got parole in ten years, however, and married a girl he met during his imprisonment. He could only work labor heavy jobs due to his lack of education. He was arrested in 1986 for possession of marijuana, but was released a year later. He entered night school around his release and found a job at a car wash.
In July of 1988, Little had become a suspect in a murder investigation where two women had been killed in the apartment complex Little lived in. Both women had been raped and killed on seperate occasions with no signs of forced entry to the apartment. There was not enough evidence to convict him for either crime, but Little had suddenly confessed to the murders of four women during one interrogation.
Little managed to avoid the death penalty by having one trial. His lawyers tried to get him out of this because the only thing incriminating him was his own testimony, but he refused to plead that he was mentally ill. He received nine life sentences.
