Resolution No. 559-34 (LS) - Joe S. San Agustin

Relative to recognizing and congratulating Mrs. Jeanette Dianne Johnson Madera on the occasion of her retirement from the U.S Naval Hospital, Guam after thirty-three (33) years of outstanding service; and to further expressing a warm and sincere Un Dángkolo Na Si Yu'os Ma'áse' for her commitment to Guam and our nation.

Relative to recognizing and congratulating Doris A. Terlaje on the occasion of her retirement from the Guam Department of Education after thirty (30) years of outstanding service Guam; and to further expressing a warm and sincere Un Dángkolo Na Si Yu'os Ma'áse' for her devotion to the children of Guam.

Resolution No. 553-34 (LS) - Joe S. San Agustin

Relative to recognizing and congratulating the University of Guam School of Business & Public Administration’s (UOG SBPA) regional center for public policy guam and its leadership for their unwavering commitment to engage our island community during Guam's gubernatorial elections through the great debate; and to further expressing a warm and sincere Un Dángkolo Na Si Yu'os Ma'áse' to them for valuing the importance of education, respect and public awareness on Guam.

  • Resolution No. 550-34 (COR) - Relative to commending, congratulating and honoring the Guam Men's National Basketball Team for representing Guam in the FIBA Asia Cup 2021 Pre-Qualifiers 2019 Tournament in Bangkok, Thailand, and for advancing Guam into the 2021 Asia Cup Qualifiers and finishing the tournament with a perfect 6-0 record, and recognizes the families and sponsors of the Guam Men's National Basketball Team.

  • Resolution No. 527-34 (COR) - ADOPTED: 10/23/18 - Relative to recognizing and commending the unwavering hard work of our island's public school principals on the occasion of "National Principals Month" and to further extending a warm and sincere Un Dángkolo Na Si Yu'os Ma'áse' to each of them for their dedication to ensure our students in the Guam Public School System are adequately educated, have a healthy and safe learning environment, and are supported wholeheartedly for the betterment of our island community.
  • Resolution No. 523-34 (COR) - ADOPTED: 10/12/18 - Relative to commending and congratulating Guam Diabetes Association on their 19th Annual Diabetes Conference; welcoming Dr. Gene Gerald S.J. Tiongco, MD, FPAPRAS; as a conference guest speaker; and to further extending a warm and sincere Un Dángkolo Na Si Yu'os Ma'áse' to them for their commitment and dedication to being strong advocates and contributors in the fight against diabetes for all the people of Guam.
  • Resolution No. 522-34 (COR) - ADOPTED: 10/12/18 - Relative to commending and congratulating Guam Diabetes Association on their 19th Annual Diabetes Conference; to welcoming Dr. Shigeo Kono, MD, Ph.   • Resolution No. 516-34 (LS) - Relative to recognizing and congratulating Ms. Lynn Hechanova Okada on the occasion of her retirement from the government of Guam after twenty-seven (27) years and ten (10) months of service; and for her contributions and dedication to quality health care and services for all people of Guam.

  • Resolution No. 480-34 (LS) - Relative to recognizing, honoring, and congratulating Mr. Peter P. Leon Guerrero, on the occasion of his retirement after dedicating twenty-one (21) years of his life in service to the Government of Guam at the Bureau of Statistics and Plans.
  • Resolution No. 479-34 (LS) - Relative to honoring and congratulating the distinguished United States Army Captain, Ignas Toves Susuico (Retired) on the occasion of his retirement after more than thirty-three (33) years of service to our nation and island community and to further extend an Un Dángkolo Na Si Yu'os Ma'áse' for his dedication to enhancing the lives of thousands of Guam's school children as an instructor of the Simon Sanchez High School Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps for twenty-one (21) years.
  • Resolution No. 478-34 (LS) - ADOPTED: 8/8/18 - Relative to recognizing, commending, and congratulating Kim Loring Volsteadt on the occasion of his retirement from the Guam Department of Education after more than thirty-seven (37) years of outstanding service.
  • Resolution No. 475-34 (COR) - ADOPTED: 7/31/18 - Relative to recognizing and commending the Guam-CNMI Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) State Committee for their hard work in the development and promotion of employer support for the service members of the National Guard and Reserve by advocating relevant initiatives; recognizing outstanding support of employers for their employees and of our National Guard and Reserve; increasing awareness of applicable laws; and resolving any conflicts between employers and their service member employees.
  • Resolution No. 474-34 (COR) - Relative to recognizing and congratulating Mr. Gabriel M. T. Certeza on his retirement from the Department of Revenue and Taxation after thirty-three (33) years of outstanding government service to the public and the community of Guam.
  • Resolution No. 466-34 (LS) - ADOPTED: 7/2/2018 - Relative to recognizing and commending Dr. James K. Nozaki, M.D., who after twenty (20) years of dedicated service to the Seventh-day Adventist Guam Clinic and Guam Memorial Hospital Authority, is returning back to California; and to further extend a warm and sincere Un Dángkolo Na Si Yu'os Ma'áse'for all his hard work and service to the medical community and people of Guam.
  • Resolution No. 464-34 (COR) - Relative to commending Reverend Father Jonathan Caldeo Alvarez, JCL, for his eleven (11) years of faithful dedication and service of the faith community of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Yigo; and to further extend our best wishes as he assumes Pastoral leadership of Niño Perdido-Sagráda I Familia Catholic Church.
  • Resolution No. 461-34 (COR) - Relative to recognizing and commending Allan Tangayan, Communications, Information and Protocol Officer, Philippine Consulate General, Guam for handling international relations for government officials and fostering understanding and cooperation between individuals, organizations, and foreign bodies.
  • Resolution No. 458-34 (COR) - ADOPTED: 6/14/2018 - Relative to welcoming and offering our warmest Hafa Adai to the Honorable Salvador Belaro, Jr., Assistant Majority Leader and 1-Ang Edukasyon Party-List Representative of the Seventeenth (17th) Congress of the Republic of the Philippines, as he serves as the guest-of-honor on the occasion of the commemoration of the 157th birth anniversary of Philippine national hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal.

  • Resolution No. 408-34 (COR) - ADOPTED: 6/11/18 - Relative to recognizing and commending the Guam HAWGS Motorcycle Club as they commemorate twenty-five (25) years of outstanding contributions to the people of Guam, especially to the children and Military Veterans of our island.
  • Resolution No. 407-34 (COR) - ADOPTED: 5/9/18 - Relative to commending and congratulating the Southern High School – Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (SHS-AJROTC). Southern High School, AJROTC "Knight Battalion" is where cadets are proud of being a part of the community reaching and team building program. Cadets follow the Seven Core Army Values are what the SHS-AJROTC Instructors and cadets of the Knight Battalion is all about "Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, Personal Courage"
  • Resolution No. 406-34 (COR) - ADOPTED: 5/7/18 - Relative to recognizing, commending, and congratulating the Guam Memorial Hospital Authority on the occasion of “National Hospital Week,” during the week of May 6th to May 12th, 2018 with the theme: “Caring is Our Calling.”
  • Resolution No. 399-34 (LS) - ADOPTED: 4/30/18 - Relative to commending and acknowledging the distinguished accomplishments and dedication of the late Tony Thompson, Father Duenas Memorial School Principal, coach, athletic director, educator, active member in the sports community and mentor whose actions, words, and wisdom was an inspiration to all; and to further extending the sincere condolences of the people of Guam and I Liheslaturan Guâhan to the members of the Thompson family upon his passing.
