We are an avid group of students from Southwest Guilford High School motivated to emphasize the importance of self-care by educating you to take care of your mental health and well-being.
We provide daily posts about self-care and reach out to our community as much as possible through stories and interactable posts. These posts will inform you how to improve your mental health through self-care.

¨I believe that before you can care for others, you must take care for yourself. That is why Self-Care and Mental Health awareness are so important to me. Through Self Care-apy, we have spread the message of prioritizing your mental well-being by building an audience on Instagram and TikTok. Through this project, I have been able to not only share this passion of mine but also meet people who are also passionate about Self-Care and Mental Health.¨

"Self-care is an essential aspect of our daily life. It is what helps us to give time to reflect on ourselves and also a way for us to relax to find peace in ourselves. Always having breaks is important as people can overwork and burn out. This is where self-care comes into play to prevent burn-outs and also to maintain a healthy body state (mentally, physically, and spiritually). "Self-care is something that I was not proficient in, so when I joined this group I wanted to help not only myself but others learn what good self-care is and the healthy benefits of self-care. I promoted self-care so people can be happier and healthier by having a more positive mindset. I also wanted to spread awareness on the matter since I've seen many people who are close to me feeling down or depressed, and I always wanted to help them, so by spreading awareness on the benefits of self-care I helped improve the mental health of those around me."
