January 9th, 2024- EXAM WEEK MOTIVATION
The week of January 9th was EXAM WEEK. We understand how exam week can be tough, so for an extra boost of motivation, we decided to hand out Good Luck Notes for our peers!
Attached on the note was a Starburst, as well as a message saying, "Remember! You're a Star! Good Luck on Finals!"

January 12th, 2024- Family Game Night for Diabetes Awareness (COLLABORATION w/ Southwest HOSA Diabetes Awareness)
In collaboration with SW HOSA Diabetes Awareness, we hosted a table at their Family Game Night for Diabetes.
We had so much fun with our “Pop Your Feelings Away” activity, in which participants wrote negative thoughts down on balloons and popped them away!
- We also had participants answer trivia on diabetes to spread more knowledge on the subject.

February 12th-16th, 2024- Healthy Hearts Spirit Week
As February is American Heart Month, we hosted a Healthy Hearts Spirit Week. We wanted to stress the importance of not only mental health, but physical health as well.
Movement Monday: Our peers dressed up in their best GYM outfits to promote the importance of exercise for your heart health and mental health.
Think Heart Health Tuesday: On this day, we had a table set up in the cafeteria to spread knowledge on heart health to our peers.
Wear Red Wednesday/Valentine's Day: In support of the American Heart Association, we encouraged everyone to wear red/pink.
Trivia Thursday: We set up a table in the cafeteria during lunch to test our peers on their knowledge of heart health.
Blood Drive Friday: Finally, Friday was our school-wide Blood Drive. We encouraged others to donate blood and save a life. A couple of our members donated blood as well!

April 29, 2024 - Self-Care Awareness + Research Study
Many people don't realize how important self-care is for our mental health. To spread awareness, we hosted a Self-Care Awareness Table during lunch at our school!
We had students and staff answer trivia on Self-Care and gave them lollipops! We also encouraged them to take part in our research study!
May 1-3 - Collaboration with Asian Culture Club for AAPI Month
For Asian American Pacific Islander Month, we partnered with Asian Culture Club as they fundraised for NC Asian Americans Together, a non-profit organization that supports Asian Americans in NC.
May 10 - Teacher Appreciation
During Teacher Appreciation Week, we wanted to celebrate our teachers through giving them thank you notes, pens with mental health reminders, and mental health reminder stickers.
