SHS Is Accepting Submissions At This Time

Submissions

All submissions are carefully reviewed before publication.

It is your choice what you write about within reason, but you can find out what is missing to get some inspiration. Please make sure to review our style guide before submitting. SHS writings are organized into three categories.

📝 Definition

A definition of the subject, a paragraph or more, like you would find in an encyclopedia.

📘 Article

An academic article that explores the subject in depth or compares & connects multiple topics.

📖 Story

A story driven subject written in the form of a storyline. Perfect for providing immersive content.

Why Write for SHS?

Our contributors volunteer for several reasons, which are different for everyone.

Most of our contributors believe in our mission to engage people with Selaiki history and to improve history education worldwide and want to become a part of it.
Many others value that their work can expand Selaikic lore, as the Selaikic Historical Society is the world's largest repository of Selaiki content.
Many more simply enjoy the process and the writing experience they gain from working on Selaiki topics.

Getting Started

Use the writing template provided here to get a copy, and edit. We offer PDF and DOC file types.
Currently, you need to have a discord account in order to send over your writing and get it evaluated for publishing.
- If you have an account, proceed to the Writing Submission Thread in the Sparks 360 server to send your completed writing in a PDF format.
Please refer to the Terms and Conditions page before continuing.
SHS will post a notification on this page if we are not accepting submissions at the moment. Please check back periodically to see if we are currently accepting submissions.

By providing your writing. you will be given a page with what you provided. custom profiles not guaranteed unless you provide your own in your writing.
