Did you know that honeybees are extremely sensitive to scents? Not only are honeybees attracted by colors and patterns, but they also use their antennae to make out chemical releases from flowers. In this way, they are able to recognize different species of flowers and even detect which ones have the most pollen!
During the last phase of a honeybee's life, it leaves the hive in search of nectar and pollen. During trips, it picks up pollen from one flower and spreads pollen dust to another - and so the honeybee becomes refreshed, while refreshing others!
Did you know that honeybees sometimes fall asleep in flowers while they collect pollen? Rest is super important, even for little insects like bees. In the same way, we want to honor a season of rest as we recharge and prepare for the next season - see you in July!
Easter Season is a time to reflect on our Lord and Savior's life, death, burial, and resurrection. As we remember how the Lord forgave us, let's not forget to extend that same gift as we await the good hope of our Lord's soon return!
