CROWN: Jesus is King

The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. 4 So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.

Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords. He’s supreme and sovereign. This means that everything is in His control. Jesus gave His disciples parables to explain how His kingdom operates. Time and again, the character of God is revealed: to bless, love, heal and save. But it doesn’t end there. As citizens of His kingdom, He invites us to do the same for our brethren (John 13:34-35) while conquering our adversary with the authority He’s given us through His Word (Luke 10:19). In this way, we bring glory to His name.

YELLOW HEXAGON: Anointing

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
  because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
- Luke 4:18-19

The words of Isaiah the Prophet read by Jesus in the synagogue were to announce the purpose for His coming. He did not come to condemn and destroy, but to save (John 3:16-17). Jesus had God’s stamp of approval, or anointing, to do just that. God’s anointing usually came into someone’s life if they had a specific task that He wanted them to do. here at SEHLI DESIGNS, our anointed mission is to spread the message of hope, love and peace brought by Jesus Christ.

HONEYBEES ON HONEYCOMB: Bondservants of Christ

Gracious words are a honeycomb,
sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
- Proverbs 16:24

In a hive, there are different types of bees: the queen, the drones, and worker bees. The queen is responsible for laying all the eggs. The drones are male bees, responsible for getting the queen pregnant (funny) and the worker bees are responsible for taking care of the hive, eggs, baby bees, going out to get nectar, pollinate flowers, and making honey. Geez! Like Proverbs 11:25,  we at SEHLI DESIGNS are like worker bees that go out diligently to spread the gospel (pollinate) and to be refreshed (nectar) . And once the message is spread, honey is made back at the hive (art). And so the process repeats itself.

A GARDEN ENCLOSED

You are a garden locked up, my sister, my bride;
    you are a spring enclosed, a sealed fountain.
 Your plants are an orchard of pomegranates
    with choice fruits,
    with henna and nard,
     nard and saffron,
    calamus and cinnamon,
    with every kind of incense tree,
    with myrrh and aloes
    and all the finest spices.
 You are a garden fountain,
    a well of flowing water
    streaming down from Lebanon.
- Song of Solomon 4:12-15

Just like this enclosed garden, SEHLI DESIGNS is set apart for a good work. Ad within these garden, the Lord has planted His choice flowers and plants, that is necessary to produce the artwork (or honey). An interesting fact about these flowers, is that they all have the colour YELLOW in common: be it in their petals, spices, powders or resins. These flowers also have healing qualities that target the gut and womb area. These flowers are also present in the ingredients of the Holy Anointing Oil of the Tabernacle of God (Exodus 30:22-25). These are also the same spices used in Esther's beauty regime before she went in to see the king (Esther 2:12-13).
