Dry Firing Practice
I recommend owning a second double action handgun with a heavy trigger for dry fire practice to strengthen your finger. Striker fired guns usually require you to pull the slide back a bit to dry fire. There are a few double action striker guns available too. O-rings on a hammer fired + snap cap in the chamber will protect your firing pin and roll pin and can reduce likeliness of a minor part breaking after tens of thousands of dry fires.
The steps to safely dry fire is to: eject magazine, lock open to verify your gun is completely empty. Now check the chamber a minimum of two more times locked open. Load in a snap cap through the magazine if you have one and do not load it directly into chamber. Aim it wherever no human or animal would be at, paying attention to any applicable apartment ceilings, walls and floors before dry firing as while keeping the sights steady the entire time.
Grip
Fix up your grip. Support hand grips extremely tight like an apple. Dominant hand grips weaker like a banana for better trigger pulls. Place the web of your dominant hand all the way up to the beaver tail of the firearm. Watch videos and read articles on your gun and how to grip it better. Put most of your effort on holding a pistol with two hands.
Go out to a firing range and see what works and what doesn't. The bullseye does not matter, only your group sizes matter. Adjust sights only if the entire group is off. 22LR, BB guns, and dry firing will help improve your technique incredibly without needing to spend thousands on ammo.
