Main Topics

Welcome are all topics, which directly investigate, which impact sitting in VR/AR has, or work where the user is being seated and this fact has/had an significant impact on the interface design, including:

Submission Format

First, we call for short papers ranging from preliminary research results to position papers, with pages ranging from 1-4 pages (including references). These will go through a formal reviewing process and if accepted will be published electronically through the IEEE Digital Library. That is, a committee of expert reviewers will review these submissions and we will provide the possibility to react to those reviews with a rebuttal.

Second, we also accept talk proposals raising interesting positions or questions to discuss during the workshop to be submitted by 1-page abstracts. These will only be reviewed by the workshop organizers and will not be published in the IEEE Digital Library.

At least one author per accepted contribution must register for the workshop as well as the IEEE VR conference. Authors of accepted contributions will be expected to give a lightning talk at the workshop (video recorded or via live video call - in either way we require a submitted video of the talk as a backup before the workshop). Submissions must be prepared in IEEE Computer Society  VGTC format and submitted in PDF via PCS. Login (or register) to PCS, pick VR as society, IEEE VR 2021 as conference/journal and then our workshop as track.

Feel free to link videos of your work in the abstract itself but make sure it is sufficiently anonymized, e.g., by providing a link to google drive etc.
