Summary and Suggestions

There are two main objectives of the program. The first is to develop and refine effective teaching skills in an international setting, engaging students in a way that builds language skills while fostering enthusiasm for learning. The practicum aims to improve classroom management strategies, build strong communication techniques, and provide an immersive teaching experience that includes adapting to different cultural and educational environments. 

Secondly, the program is designed to facilitate rich cultural exchanges between countries in ASEAN. Through these exchanges, we have the opportunity to share traditions, customs, foster a sense of solidarity, and kinship. This cultural sharing helps bridge differences, strengthen bonds between countries, and create lasting relationships, enriching the learning experience for students and teachers. Ultimately, this dual focus on educational development and cultural exchange will leave a lasting impact on our professional growth and cross-cultural awareness.

The practicum involves interactive classroom sessions where activities such as group tasks are conducted to build teamwork and engagement. The structure also includes a mix of discussions, group tasks and hands-on learning to make the lessons interesting and ensure students stay interested and motivated.

The practicum successfully engaged the students, as shown by their active participation and enthusiasm. Communication between teachers and students was clear, creating a positive learning environment. The structure of the activities allowed students to participate openly, and the use of rewards highlighted the importance of creativity in teaching methods. This practicum strengthened practitioners' abilities in lesson implementation and encouraged a flexible approach to different classroom settings.

The practicum was overall well executed, with clear communication being a major strength. Efforts to adapt and cooperation among students were able to have a positive impact on class dynamics. Despite some external disruptions (e.g., cancellation of school activities and delays due to typhoons), the intern maintained a structured approach to lessons and demonstrated a strong capacity to relate to students, which is crucial in any teaching environment.

The practicum successfully engaged the students, as shown by their active participation and enthusiasm. Communication between teachers and students is very clear, creating a positive learning environment. The structure of the activities as well as the selection of interesting teaching materials can encourage students to actively participate in the learning process. This practicum strengthens the practitioner's ability in lesson implementation and encourages a flexible approach to different classroom settings. 

Strengthen Classroom Management: Implement more strategies to attract students' attention to the lesson.

Improve Time Management: Set time limits for each activity in the lesson to ensure smoother transitions and completion of lesson objectives.

Voice Modulation: Practice varying voice pitch and volume to maintain authority, especially in noisy or high-energy situations.

Affirming Teacher Presence: Develop a balance between warmth and authority through body language, voice and posture, by establishing a clear teacher role without the need to state it.
