The decision to join wasn’t straightforward, though. I hesitated for quite some time because of practical concerns, primarily the financial aspect. Covering flights, accommodation, daily expenses, visa requirements, and other costs felt like a huge burden on a student’s limited budget. I also worried about being away from family for weeks, potential homesickness, culture shock, and whether the investment would truly pay off in my development as a teacher.

After a lot of thinking, praying, and discussions with my family and lecturers, I decided to take the risk. I chose to step forward in faith, believing that if this opportunity was part of God’s plan for me, He would open the way and provide what was needed. In the end, that trust proved right. This experience has become one of the most transformative chapters in my journey so far and strengthening not just my English and teaching skills, but also my courage and perspective on life.
