Over the past 12 months, we have raised over $30,000 locally as part of our Ignite the S.Park campaign. We have used the money raised to:

-        Upgrade our reading resources in the classrooms and in the school library, as well as developing satelite libraries in each of the breakout spaces (furniture will be delivered in Term 3)

-    Replace the bubbler taps around the school (work will be completed in Term 3)

We have raised enough money to upgrade the bubbler taps around the school and the senior students are working with Kylie Jones to create the artwork.

Next on our list is replacing the furniture in the art room and literacy intervention room. The total project is expected to cost $20,000 so, as we do with all of our fundraising targets, the school has budgeted 50% of the cost and we are hoping to raise the other 50% through local events and fundraisers. Your support is always appreciated.

Ben Welsh is also working on preparing a grant application for the replacement of all three playgrounds. The total cost of that work is expected to be approximately $200,000 and we are hoping to have selected our supplier and begun installation of at least one of the playgrounds before the end of the school year.

One way you can support our Ignite the S.Park campaign is by donating your 10c refund on every bottle and can returned to the collection centre to Seaford Park Primary School. Feel free to share our barcode and number with your family and friends so we can all work together to Ignite the S.Park.

You might also consider downloading a Ritchies Card App and scanning it whenever you shop at Ritchies IGA.
