March Signing Supper
March 19 at 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Granite City Food & Brewery
2620 S Louise Avenue
Sioux Falls, South Dakota 57106
Our March Signing Supper will serve as a special fundraiser for the Rick Norris Legacy Community Fund at Granite City in Sioux Falls. Signing Suppers are monthly gatherings that bring together Deaf community members, interpreters, ASL teachers, ASL students, and families to share a meal and build community.
For this event, Granite City will donate 20% of our group’s proceeds directly to the Rick Norris Legacy Community Fund, helping continue Rick’s lasting impact in our community.
Your RSVP is essential. Granite City requires a minimum number of attendees in order for us to receive the fundraising proceeds. If we do not meet that requirement, the fundraiser will not apply.
Please be sure to reserve your spot in advance to help ensure the success of this meaningful event. We look forward to gathering together in support of Rick’s legacy.

Join us for Recoverying Vitality After Empathic Strain with Arlyn Anderson
In this experiential seminar, Interpreters have the opportunity to explore and process the cumulative impact of professional and personal stress. This unique seminar will introduce participants to the concept of empathic strain, also known as compassion fatigue. We will explore the range of impacts of unaddressed empathic strain on professionalism, effectiveness, resilience, and personal well-being. Together we will explore meaningful self-care and short- and long-term strategies for recovering vitality.
