The purpose of integrating sustainable and climate resilient practices into the broader community and cultural efforts is to shift the overall institutional culture so that sustainability and climate resiliency are fully integrated into daily life in a school. If you were to visit a school community who has done this, there will be evidence that the community can "walk the talk" of sustainability and resiliency, and also their impact will often become a catalyst for sustainable change in the community beyond. Introduction to Systems Thinking and How to Utilize Systems Thinking to Enact Change: Systems Thinking is a holistic thinking style that focuses on identifying ways that a system's parts interrelate, and how systems work over time and within the context of larger systems.
