The unit Actives include escorting Buses through the forest on the Friday night.
During Saturday & Sunday they have 5 vehicles Traveling the area every hour collecting score sheets from each of the 24 Activity sites & taking them to H/Q, while on the tracks keeping an eye open for any problems.
They are also on standby to assist with search & rescue if required.

The Radio Team members at HQ , each sleep point, and provides radios to the First Aid and Welfare HQ operators & 4x4 unit Vehicle Control station.
Operators are on call 24hr during the event operating times.
They facilitate communications with Emergency Services and Parents of Youth Members as required to meet the health and wellbeing needs of participants and supporters alike.

The unit members are Qualified 1st aiders They set up a 1st Aid H/Q manned 24 hours a day.
With 2 members at each Sleep Point with radio contact with each other at all times through H/Q radio
