Be Prepared
- Arrive to the location 10 minutes before the event start time.
- Wear your Class A uniform.
- Unless you’ve arranged for us to drop it off in advance, bring your popcorn and supplies.
- Make sure you have downloaded the App onto at least one device. (If applicable, double check that the Square reader works with your device.)
- Familiarize yourself with the items that are available to order.
Cooperate
When multiple Scouts are fundraising together at the same time/place, the popcorn purchased from each of them is automatically split equally between them and their respective Troops. In order for this to happen:
- Each Scout must be registered for the event (Storefront Shift) on Trails End.
- All purchases must be made through the Storefront Sales in the Trails End App. It doesn’t matter which Scout placed the order through the app; all participants will receive an equal portion of that credit.
Take Sales
- Log into the App using the account of any one of the participating Scouts.
- From the "Dashboard," select "Storefront Sales."
- Select your current shift from the list.
- At the bottom of the screen, Select “Storefront”
- Select "Start Storefront Sale" and then the prompts to add products, take payment, and enter customer information.
- NOTE: You may need to enable your device microphone to manually enter credit/debit card information.
