Kapil Seshasayee

Kapil Seshasayee is a musician from Glasgow, Scotland - whose style encompasses Indian Classical guitar ornamentations, Avant Electronica and Contemporary R&B. His debut album - a concept album about the Indian Caste System - featured at Pitchfork, Vice, Rolling Stone India, The Guardian, The Quietus, BBC Scotland & BBC Asian Network. After performances at Latitude Festival & SXSW in 2019, Kapil returns to SXSW again this year for meetings with labels & distributors interested in releasing his follow-up LP. The first single from his upcoming record premiered in Rolling Stone India and was followed by a full UK tour and many of his biggest live appearances to date including a show in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall with members of Belle & Sebastien, Lau & Mogwai for Celtic Connections festival.
