Happy was born and raised in the Metal Scrappers, though unfortunately they weren't exactly raised by their mother. With their older siblings taking over their care after an accident injured their sibling and killed their mother, Happy tries their best to be a good cat for the colony despite everything. It's a surprise when they suddenly fall for this traveling cat, Aria, and their relationship blossomed into the birth of their kit: Joy. Unfortunately, Aria would soon leave the colony and the explorer has no clue of what would become of them.

Periwinkle is a young cat who, despite their age, has seen a lot of the world. Born to a traveling band consisting of their parents, siblings and uncle Mirror, things would quickly go south after their littermate dies and their uncle is blamed for it. Refusing to believe that, Periwinkle decides to leave the group with Mirror, going on to find new horizons.

Shrapnel is a cat that has seen a lot. Maybe even more than they should ever have. They've lived a long and harsh life, one filled with violence and fear - as a result they became rather jumpy and nervous of new cats. The hardships would be too much for their sickly kitten, they knew the little one would not survive. So with a heavy heart, they left them with a colony they knew would care for them. Now being weak and abandoned by their group themselves, they hope to seek shelter in the colony they once resorted to.

Armadillotrot is a young tender, doing their best to care for the colony through the complete chaos that has taken over their lifes since they were a young trainee. With their parent killed in a Great Hunt when they were a very young kitten, they've since been raised by the cat who was responsible for that very accident.

Horionsky is one of the young adults of the colony, the most recent graduate since Coyotestar came into the role of Northern Star. Losing their mother when the drought made her sickness worse and then seeing their sister abandon the colony to find a safer place to live, Horizonsky is doing their best to keep things together as much as they can.

Saltburst is one of the colonies senior scouts, which means a lot of work hangs on their shoulders. Not only that, but they had to suffer the loss of the majority of their family with the horrible situations the colony went through. Their mate and son dies, with their second son staying in Polaris Well when the group left. Now, Saltburst only has their kit Shellspark and their shaky connection.
