Welcome to SC INBRE
South Carolina IDeA Networks of Biomedical Research Excellence (SC INBRE) is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) with the goal of increasing biomedical research capacity in our state. Our program office directly supports a statewide network of 13 member and four outreach institutions, as well as providing educational, workplace and career development, and hands-on research training open to anyone (unless otherwise posted).
SC INBRE is South Carolina’s statewide IDeA Program. We invite the opportunity to work with SC’s COBREs (institution-based IDeA programs) and other NIH-funded programs in our state.
