Movement
Movement
Movement is doing an action of moving from one location to another location.
Plants
Plants can move parts of themself by moving closer to the sunlight or the roots growing bigger as the plants develop into a sprout.
Animals can move because they need to migrate, hunt, find shelter and many more things to help them to survive.
Respiration
Respiration is the energy that helps break down the food we eat by using the oxygen we inhale. The cells and oxygen are required for this procedure.
Breathing and Respiration are not the same however breathing is a part of the respiration process.
Plants helps us produce our oxygen so we could breathe but when it comes to plants, they exchange their gases through the holes of the underside of the leaves called the Stomata.
Animals have different types of organs that help them to breathe depending in the habitat their in but most of the terrestrial animals have lungs to breathe.
Sensitivity
Sensitivity is a reaction where our body detects a sense of what wefeel based on what we use with our 5 senses.
This is called a stimuli.
Plants faced the sun because they like the sunlight and sense it because of their chromosomes and their roots sense and move towards the water. Some plants are actually sensitive to human touch.
Animals have the same thing with us, using their 5 senses. Almost all animals have a brain and nervous systems but some of them have none.
Growth
Growth is the increase of the organisms that they get taller and wider we get as we grow older into old age.
Plants grow by the amount of sunlight, water, and the care we give them so that they can grow bigger as they sprout. They can grow in different shapes and grow taller.
Animals can grow into adults as the years go on and they get more wider and taller but the only thing is that their size will specific shape.
Reproduction
We as humans can reproduce to make offspring and other organisms too. Some organisms may reproduce sexually (2 partners) or asexually (1 partner).
Plants reproduce by seeds (sexually) but some others are reproduce from spores/cuttings (asexually).
Animals reproduce by laying eggs such as hens, snakes, etc. When they are hatched, the newborn have to survive all by itself so it can live. However, there are animals that can give birth naturally, that are called mammals that stay by their children's side to help them to survive.
Excretion
Excretion is the process that we remove our waste from our bodies. Poop does not count as an example of excretion. However sweat, urine, old blood all counts in excretion.
Plants excrete by their barks, saps, leaves and breathing out carbon dioxide.
Animals excrete by urinating, sweating and breathing out carbon dioxide.
Nutrition
Nutrition is providing or getting food to help us get healthier and grow.
Plants get nutrition through photosynthesis. This is getting food from sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water to produce oxygen for us. They are independent and can produce their own food.
Animals get their nutrition by hunting down their prey while others get theirs by eating plants. They do not make their own food.
