Students want to interact with each other.
Give them an opportunity to have purposeful conversation and collaboration.
Use group work to build and brainstorm ideas.
Set yourself up as a colearner, ask questions, and let students share their learning with you and the class.
Give inquisitive feedback - What if….?
Find ways to make connections with experts in the field.
Encourage students to email or tweet professionals.
Ask students to CC you on emails so you can learn too(and provide a layer of accountability).
Think outside the textbook. Utilize videos, simulations, slideshows, expeditions, virtual reality, apps, podcasts, etc.
Create shared Google Docs where students can share resources
