FAQ: Recital Tickets

When will additional recital tickets go on sale?

Recital tickets will go on sale on Monday, May 4th at 6:00pm. You will receive an email with instructions on how to purchase tickets at least one week prior. 

How much do extra tickets cost?

Extra tickets start at $15.50 each, with tiered pricing available. Closer seats are priced higher.

What if I got early access tickets?

Families with dancers in our Dude's Dance and with parents who are volunteering recieve early access to our recital tickets as a bonus! You'll be able to access tickets Sunday, May 3rd (time and directions will be provided one week early via email)

Is there a limit on the number of tickets I can purchase?

No, there will be no limit on the amount of tickets you can purchase this year for recital.

Can my dancer watch the show in the audience with me?

No, dancers are not permitted in the audience during the show. They get the full backstage experience!

Exception: Adaptive Dancers class who will have a reserved row to sit with their families during the show so they can watch!

Is there a chance that the show my dancer is in will sell out?

We have over 200 dancers participating in the shows. Make sure to buy all the tickets you need in advance! Last year, both of our shows sold out.

If I have issues with the ticket buying process, who do I contact?

Will my seats be reserved or general admission?

Seats this year will all be reserved and chosen in advance. Doors will open 20 minutes before each show start time.

Which show do I buy tickets to?

Make sure you know which show your dancer will be dancing at! It will be listed on their costume garment bag and can also be found in this Show Order. 

What if I need wheelchair accessible seating?

Make sure to let us know before tickets go on sale if you need wheelchair accessible seating so we can reserve a spot for you.

Can I purchase tickets on the day of the show?

Our shows may sell out, so tickets may not be available on the day of the show. Standing room will be available. If you'd like to be on a waitlist for recital tickets, please email info@schotimedancecenter.com as clients are exchanging or switching around tickets as needed. If you have extra tickets you don't need anymore, we do grant refunds on tickets. Please email us to start this process.
