At the School of Health Sciences, we have never intended for our charges to be limited to local employment. We know that in order for them to serve Singapore, they must first spread their wings overseas and learn as much as they can. That way, when they return, our healthcare services will benefit more from their multi-cultural experiences.
Towards this end, the School of Health Sciences have always done our best to encourage overseas trips, enrichment programmes or study trips. As teams of our students surge overseas during their breaks, they will gain more exposure.
We hope that these HS overseas trip would seed in them the tiny thought that nursing is a globally desired profession and that they can learn so much more about themselves and the human condition if they will just allow them to cultivate an adventurous spirit.
