Marcin Sikora, Ph.D. in physics 2002, AGH-UST. Associate Professor at the Academic Centre for Materials and Nanotechnology, AGH-UST. Postdoctoral fellow at the University of Zaragoza (2003-2004), Post-Doc and Junior Scientist at the European Synchrotron (2005-2008), visiting scientist at TTF-FEL, University of Wurzburg, Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences and Swiss Light Source. His research interest primarily focuses on electronic and magnetic properties of hybrid and nanostructured materials. He was involved in the development of synchrotron based magnetic probes contributing to the pioneering X-ray spectroscopy study under pulsed fields and combined with resonant inelastic X-ray scattering (RIXS-MCD). He performed experiments at numerous synchrotron light sources in Europe, Brazil, Japan and USA. Currently, he is serving as a review panel member for Swiss Light Source and European XFEL and collaborates with Solaris synchrotron in the development of PEEM/XAS experimental station. ResearcherID: F-9998-2010.
