CAYEN-SL Mobilizes Youth for Community Climate Action
The Climate Agriculture Youth Equity Network Sierra Leone (CAYEN-SL) strengthened community climate action through a district-wide environmental clean-up campaign that brought together young volunteers and local community members.
During the initiative, participants removed waste from public spaces while promoting awareness of environmental protection, responsible waste management, and the importance of collective action. The campaign demonstrated how community participation can contribute to cleaner, healthier, and more climate-resilient communities.
