Food insecurity remains an important challenge in Nigeria. Young people can play a meaningful role by learning about sustainable agriculture, reducing food waste, supporting community initiatives, and raising awareness about nutrition and food security.

🌱 OUR FOCUS

SDG 7 — Affordable and Clean Energy

Our project focused on creating awareness among community members about the environmental and health impacts of traditional cooking fuels such as firewood.

🔥 THE PROBLEM

Many communities rely on firewood for cooking. Burning firewood releases smoke and pollutants into the air, contributing to air pollution and climate-related environmental problems.

Prolonged exposure to household smoke can also affect people's health.

💡 OUR APPROACH

We worked to educate and convince community members about the importance of cleaner and more sustainable energy choices.

We encouraged conversations about:

💨 Reducing harmful smoke emissions
