Art—in many ways—is a representation of what it means to be human. At the inception, the canvas, a vacuous realm capable of declaring the macrocosm known unto men. The ubiquitous state of man, unrealizing and unexplained of the self. This art is a perspective of that discourse—known in the Vedas as "Thuriya". But how can one portray this state of being? So here it is, neither abstract or figurative, but replete with nonliteral elements—a précis of what it means 'to be'. The irony of Thuriya on this canvas is the crowded blend of colors—but that is where our thoughts fall short. Seeking the state of being, seeking Thuriya.
