Using Primary Resources Civil War Flow Chart

As part of a 5^th grade cross-curriculum social studies/technology lesson on the Civil War you will explore “Civil War Glass Negatives and Related Prints” collection on the Library of Congress website to create a concept map of major events and players in the war in teams. You will learn to search for and utilize primary sources and connect the information you find to develop concepts and timelines of historical events. This lesson be part of a unit on searching for primary sources and the Civil War unit in social studies. This lesson should take two-55min classes. This lesson will be completed using Google Slides, each team will have a set of slides to work on and the Library of Congress Civil War Glass Negatives and Related Prints Collection.
