You and a partner are going to research a Civil War Artifact located in a museum's collection and write and record an interview with the artifact.
Your research process must be documented in the search log document, each student will be responsible for their own search journal, which includes the terms used in the search process to find the artifact in your research journal along with the site where you gather the information from.
In the interview one person will be the interviewer and the other will be the artifact. A script must be written in your journal from your role in the interview.
You must discuss the 5 W's of the artifact, who may have owned the artifact, where it is from, where it was found, what events it was involved in and how it ended up in a museum.
You will use Garage Band to record and edit your interview. each team needs a recording, exported to Dropbox when completed.
The interview should be 3-4 minutes long after editing. Include an image of your artifact on your recording, make a podcast.
You will evaluate your partner and you will be graded on both the partner evaluation and the rubric below.
You will have four (4) class periods to complete this assignment.
There are a few Garage Band tutorials to help you use Garage Band to create your pod cast.
