We have learned how to be respectful online and we have learned how to write a good email. We are going to take what we have learned and send a respectful and friendly email to our teacher telling her how much we have learned and how thankful we are for everything she has taught us. The email should look like an email with all the parts of a good email included, To, From, Subject, Greeting, Body, Closing, and Signature. It should look like this example:
To: lmedved@district70.org or agrubb@district70.org
From: YourName@school.com
Subject: Thank You Note
Dear Mrs. Grubb (or Medved),
Thank you for being such a good teacher this year. You have taught me a lot about many different things this year. I loved learning about Pecos Bill and his lasso. You have made learning in 2nd grade exciting and fun. I am excited to learn more next year. I am also excited to show my 3rd grade teacher everything you have taught me.
Thanks,
Student
