Grocery Shopping List

Its time to go shopping to make sure you have enough food for the company you are expecting for your upcoming feast. You need to compare the prices of food for two different grocery stores before heading out to the stores to get the best deal on your feast because you have a limited budget.

Grocery Shopping List Spreadsheet Instructions:

1. Create a spreadsheet and chart comparing Thanksgiving dinner prices for two stores.
2. Your spreadsheet needs to have a title. This title needs to be merged and centered across the top of your data.
3. Choose the same 6 or 7 items from each store to compare prices, these are the things you would serve at your feast.
4. Create a spreadsheet with all your chosen items and their prices. Format numbers with $ signs.
5. Use a formula (SUM) to calculate the total expenses for your items.
6. Use a formula to find the difference between store one and store two this will look like =A2-B2 with the number replaced by the row number.
7. Create a bar or column chart of your expenses.
8. Fit everything on ONE printable page.
9. Save your finished work as: Shopping List Your Name
