Day 2: Defining and observing light and sound energy
Day 3: Defining and observing potential and kinetic energy
Day 4: Defining and observing thermal and electrical energy
Day 5: Creating a collaborative Rube Goldberg
By the end of this unit, students will be able to:
1. Use technology to collaborate and to create a team Rube Goldberg design and sketch
2. Define the types of energy
3. Observe how energy can be transformed and move from place to place
4. Describe a Rube Goldberg and how energy is transformed within the machine
5. Identify different types of energy in various settings, models and diagrams.
