Objectives:
Students will be able to define energy
Students will be able to observe different forms of energy in order to understand how energy can transfer or move from place to place using sound, light, heat, and electric currents (Montgomery County Public Schools, 2020)
Description: The day one lesson will be held VIA Zoom synchronously. Studnets will all log into a Zoom session and receive direct instruction from their teacher. They will participate in a live NearPod lesson where they will investigate and define energy. This lesson will be the kick off to the unit and set the stage and present information that will guide the class thought the week/unit.
Exit Ticket Formative Assessment: Studnets will use a GoogleForm to answer the following question- In your own words; define energy. This information will be used to help the teacher make decisions about reteaching.
