This small painting by Heald depicts a quaint little barn, with a ladder along the side. The building could be real or imagined. If it is real, the location is unknown, but the owner may have commissioned it. The painting also includes several large rocks to the right side, which are not very common in central Minnesota, so it is possible that this painting was not based in Minnesota at all.
