Hello!
I am Sapna and I'm a PhD student and Centennial Fellow at Princeton University, USA in the Department of Molecular Biology. Prior to Princeton, I earned my BS-MS degree (Biology major, Data Science minor) from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali where I was awarded the Professor S.N. Kaul medal for the Best All Round Performance in the Class of 2025. My time at IISER Mohali was funded by the DST-INSPIRE Scholarship from the Government of India.
I am interested in understanding how organisms integrate a multitude of signals to ensure robust and reproducible patterning during development. Over the last few years I've expanded on this broad interest by exploring different research areas and model systems pertinent to developmental biology. When I'm not in the lab having fun conducting experiments, I can be found singing or dancing my heart out, reading books, clicking pictures, or watching an outdated TV series :)
