I began my training in Bharathanatyam (a form of South Indian Classical dance) at the age of 3. I am currently under the tutelage of Kalaimamani Smt Roja Kannan at her dance school Bharatha Natyalaya, under whom I am trained in the Kalakshetra style of Bharathanatyam. My repertoire includes multiple Margams comprising pieces by varied composers and in multiple languages. I have won multiple prizes including the Center for Cultural Training and Research (CCRT) Scholarship for Bharathanatyam from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India (2013-2021) and the Association of Bharatanatyam Artistes of India (ABHAI) Outreach Scholarship (2018). I have performed extensively in India and hold many solo and group performances to my credit. A list of my performances and awards can be found here.
