Carnatic Music

I began my training in Carnatic Music (a form of South Indian Classical music) at the age of 3. I am currently under the tutelage of Kalaimamani, Sangita Kala Acharya Smt Geetha Raja under whom I have trained in the nuances of Smt T Brinda and the Dhanammal school of music. I have an extensive repertoire including 20+ Varnams, 100+ Keerthanams, 25+ Padams and Javalis. I hold multiple performances to my credit that include solo performances, duet performances with my sister Vibha Krishnakumar and accompanying dancers on the vocals apart from winning over 50 prizes in competitions conducted by Chennai's reputed sabhas.
