Frequency Response and feedback
The objectives in Part 2 of Experiment #4 are to:
• Measure magnitude and phase responses of the open-loop control-to-output transfer function Gvc(s) of the cascaded boost converter.
• Design and construct a feedback controller to regulate the dc output voltage VHV DC at a nominal value of 150 V, with a nominal load of at least 45 W and up to 85 W (depending on the load provided by TA).
• Measure Bode plots of the loop gain in the closed-loop regulated cascaded boost converter, demonstrate stable operation with adequate phase margin, and verify voltage regulation performance.
