The Native American tribal community has been disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and other air related ailments. This is because Native Americans tend to already have a compromised immune system due to environmental factors in addition to the COVID-19 virus. To mitigate this problem, our team Breath of the Dragon presents Atlia. Atlia is a smart Indoor Air-Quality control system that will better protect the Tribal Community. In addition to supporting Tribal communities, the Flexible Indoor Air-Quality Control system has the potential to cleanse polluted air for many others. Atlia detects levels of CO2, humidity, temperature, particulate matter and occupancy in a room and adjusts its fan speeds, which correlates to the rate of filtration, depending on the readings in order to reduce the amount of particulate matter in the air. Atlia also features a UVC LED to assist in deactivating any pathogens in the air that are circulated around it.
