This site serves as a resource for San Joaquin County music teachers and their students, providing everything needed to participate in the County Honors Concerts program.

Students begin by preparing and submitting a recorded audition according to the published audition guidelines. Auditions are reviewed by members of the San Joaquin County Music Educators Association (SJCMEA), who select students and determine the instrumentation for each honor ensemble. Accepted students are then invited to participate in a series of rehearsals culminating in an annual performance under the direction of distinguished guest conductors.
