Students: What you need to know and do

1. Study and learn Audition Material. 

2. Follow Recording Instructions and prepare your audition recordings.

3. Complete the Online Student Application and submit your recordings on the application.

4. Read the Student Handbook, an check the rehearsal and concert schedule below for any conflicts you may have.

Audition Reminders:

Please remember to upload audio files, not video recordings,  and to record each scale and excerpt separately. No speaking or metronome on recording. Remember to listen to your recordings before uploading them to check that they are working and of the right format. If you need to edit out a little bit of talking at the beginning or end of recording, that's ok. BandLab is a great resource for this. 

If you are accepted....

• You will be notified by email (using the address provided on the Application). 

• Your director will also receive a list of accepted students.

• Fill out and return the Participation Form to your director or bring with you to the first rehearsal.

• Music will be distributed prior to the first rehearsal.

• You must attend all scheduled rehearsals.

• Rehearse your music and come prepared to each rehearsal.

• Perform at the Honors Concert on March 6th, 2027.
