Students: What you need to know and do

• Submit the Online Choir Student Application before complete your audition. (See audition instructions below).

• Read the Student Handbook and double check the rehearsal and concert schedule below for any conflicts you may have. 

• Your Choir Directors will have access to submitting auditions.

• See your Director for audition submission information. (Directors email sjcmeamusic@gmail.com for access to audition upload folder)

• Read the Student Handbook and check the schedule for any conflicts you may have.

Audition Instructions: 

• There are four sections to this audition. A scale, a triad, and two excerpts. Your audition must be uploaded in a folder that contains four separate recordings. The folder must be labeled in the following order: Last name, First name, Voice Part, School (see example below).

If accepted:

• Fill out and return the Participation Form to your director or bring with you to the first rehearsal.

• Music will be distributed to your directors. 

• Attend all scheduled rehearsals.

• Rehearse your music and come prepared to each rehearsal.

• Perform at the Honors Concert.
