I have spent 6 years developing these skills, primarily in Maya doing hard models. This experience has given me extensive knowledge of the principles of how to make flawless and complex models, ready for rigging, animation, texturing, whatever your needs may be. I have experience modeling all sorts of things, from vehicles to muscles, to buildings, all at varied levels of detail and specificity.
